Miss Moneypenny’s Noosa CERTAINLY celebratED the momentous occasion of turning TEN AND IT WAS A VERY, VERY BIG PARTY!
It was definitely the biggest party Hastings Street has ever seen! Miss Moneypenny’s hosted more than 500 people for an afternoon that carried on into the night with even those who weren’t able to secure tickets, dancing in the street!
Our resident DJ AVOR kicked off the afternoon while our guests arrived and enjoyed roaming canapes and pizza followed by Jamie Porteous who lead the crowd into the headline act that we have all been waiting for – international DJ royalty, Paul Oakenfold.
The locals Raw Ordio took to the stage directly after Paul Oakenfold to finish off the incredible day had by everyone who attended. We can’t wait to do this all over again!

Miss Moneypenny’s flew in, direct from Europe for his one and only QLD appearance, a genuine international superstar DJ and Producer, Paul Oakenfold.
Paul is a 3-time Grammy Award nominee and was named the World No. 1 DJ twice by DJ Magazine having produced over 100 remixes for more than 100 artists – U2, Madonna, Britney Spears, The Cure and Michael Jackson to name a few. He was also the very first DJ to take the main stage at the famous Glastonbury Festival in 1999.
Highlights include three worldwide tours warming up for Madonna and U2 (with both artists insisting on a DJ set from Paul instead of a support band); performing physically on the Great Wall of China and two sold out dates playing to 30,000 people at the Hollywood Bowl in California.
Paul has also been responsible for creating some of the most breathtaking film scores for a long list of Hollywood blockbusters including The Bourne Identity, Matrix Reloaded, Shrek 2, Swordfish and Collateral.

And just in case that’s not enough, local artist Raw Ordio, Jamie Porteous and Avor will be supporting the international artist on the day to make this event one that cannot be missed.
Local to the Sunshine Coast, Raw Ordio have carved their name into the hearts of music lovers, leaving a trail of awe-inspiring performances in their wake.
At the heart of Raw Ordio, the enigmatic DJ/Producer, Brett Gadenne, whose artistic prowess knows no bounds with smooth Andy V on sax and keys and Damian Campbell on percussion.
Also on the card is Jamie Porteous. Jamie one of Ibiza’s favourite sons, having just relocated his studio his radio shows to Australasia, after 10 years within Europe, brings his magical sound to Australia.
Live electronic artist/producer and TV-Radio host, his sets are renowned for shaping sexy Balearic, house and disco moods accompanied by live synths and subtle vocals.
After a strong live performance history as a session keyboardist from 2006-2011 Jamie enjoyed global touring amongst some great peers such as Groove Armada, Ladyhawke, Bryan Ferry and Duran Duran to name a few.
Iconic Ibiza residencies since 2011 have seen him playing to the who’s who at Amnesia (Cream), Pacha (Rumours), Space (Carl Cox) and Ushuaia and in 2017 solidified his mark on the nu-disco scene at the heart of Ibiza’s Saturday night resident of “Boogie in Wonderland”
Jamie also represents number 7 world-ranked Ibiza Global Radio and Ibiza Global TV in Ibiza and from November 2017 also in Australasia with his daily sets showcasing his latest promo selections from around the globe.
AVOR is Mis Moneypenny’s resident DJ. Originally from Germany, he moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2015 and settled in Noosa. A career stretching back 15 years has seen AVOR play through Germany’s famed house and techno club scene.
Aside from playing at intimate clubs from Munich to Berlin’s heights of Sisyphos, he has also played with artists such as Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos, Monika Kruse, Amir & Butch, Format B, Sante, Klangkuenstler, and Priku on his DJ journey.
On the move to Australia, he first launched his international career in L.A. and from there to Ibiza and Bangkok, continuing to the sunset beaches of Bali before starting a new chapter Down Under.
All tickets will include 3-hours of roaming pizza, canapés and paella from 1pm to 4pm.
